IPAF Aerial Work Platform Operator Training – UNE 58923 Standard
Training aimed at workers who, as part of their professional activity, use Mobile Elevating Work Platforms for work at height. Get trained on truck-mounted platforms, articulated boom lifts, single-person lifts, scissor lifts, etc.

At Movex we offer IPAF courses so you can learn to operate aerial platforms safely and
efficiently
With our certified training program, you will receive a license to operate, a PAL card and a
recognized certification in accordance with the UNE 58923 standard and current legislation
RD 1215/97.
Our training is approved by IPAF, which guarantees that you will receive top-quality training
delivered by our highly qualified instructors.
The training is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical
training is expected to last approximately four hours, as is the practical part, during which the
operators are evaluated simultaneously.
In the first part, we will work on the correct use of a MEWP, the safety rules to follow and
applicable rules for use, handling and maintenance (recommended PPE, equipment for work
signaling, etc.).
You will also have the opportunity to learn and receive advice on how to use a MEWP and,
above all, what to take into account such as wind, electricity, etc.
In contrast, the practical part is carried out on the MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform)
on which the course is based. We teach the operator to understand the type of equipment
they are using: where the safety systems are located, how to proceed in case of a
breakdown or emergency, how to position the MEWP, how to check the terrain and
precautions to take when positioning the equipment, how to check the equipment before use
(for oil leaks, structural damage, or other types of damage) and how to act if any anomalies
are found, the correct operation of the controls for both the basket and the turret, and tips on
the use and operation of the equipment.
